    3. Bob, or is it Pat? The LDS has microfilms of the census records for Haderslev county for the following years 1803 1835 1840 1845 1855 1860 1921 http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=localitydetails&subject=149968&subject_disp=Denmark%2C+Haderslev&columns=*,0,0 Unfortunately they don't appear to have any from the period of German rule (1864-1919). The LDS microfilms can be opened into your local LDS Family History Library for a nominal fee to cover their postage and packing costs (it's A$5.00 here in Australia, so about US$4.00 ?) I am interested in Hoptrup, Haderslev, Denmark. ==== SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN-ROOTS Mailing List ==== Technical Terms and Rules of the S-H-ROOTS: http://www.genealogy-sh.com/faq-sh-roots/index.htm

    3. Hello David: I have viewed most of the 1803-1845 census. Now will act on your suggestion for 1855 & 1860. My grandfathers family left Denmark between 1869 to about 1877, one brother may have stayed there. Thanks, Pat Washington State, US ----- Original Message ----- From: David Armstrong To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, May 05, 2009 5:05 PM Subject: Re: [SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN-ROOTS] Schleswig & Southern Denmark Bob, or is it Pat?
