    3. Thank you to the listers that have contributed to this subject. I am from Australia and not one German tradition has been passed down. I guess 1864 is too far back for anything to be handed down. My early Germans from Sch-Holstein all married other German families but many of the next generation married the Irish and Scottish farmers. All I can remember is a traditional Australian Christmas spread.
