My great grandmother's godparents were Anna Christine Henrietta Ewers and Wulf Johann Heinrich Ewers. While she was born in Idaho, her parents took her back to Germany to be baptised. The marriage of my great grandmother's parents was witnessed by Friedrich and Christ. Evers in 1857 in Susel, S-H. I am fairly certain that I have a photo with Wulf Evers in it.
