The only Louisa Dohrmann I can find who lived in Baltimore, Maryland and who was born about 1853 (or variously 1849-1853) had her birthplace listed as Germany (1900 U.S. federal census). 3. This person was married to August Dohrmann. The 1800 U.S. federal census says they were from Hanover, not Schleswig-Holstein, so if you feel this is the right person you may want to inquire on a Hanover group. Regards, D.L. I am wondering whether these records might be useful in my search for the father of a Napoleon Mecklenburg who was born in 1806 near the city of Schleswig. Dann würde ich die Stadtverwaltung, Am Rathaus 1, 50181 Bedburg mit den Geburtsdaten Deiner Oma 1 anschreiben und so hätten Sie ihre Eltern im Normalfall. Dann müßten Sie herausfinden, wo sie geheiratet hat und über den Heiratseintrag könnten Sie weitere Daten (Geburtsort, etc.) von Ihrem Opa 1 finden. In der Geburtsurkunde Ihres Vaters müßten eigentlich die Geburtsdaten & -orte von Oma 2 und Opa 2 zu finden sein. Das sollte für den Anfang schon mal reichen. Liebe Grüße, Monica Kölln

Allerdings habe ich einen Mann gefunden der dort geboren ist und 1917 als Kanonier in Flandern gefallen ist.
