    3. I would like to join Janet, and the others who rushed to Klaus Struve's defense. He is the most honest and thorough researcher I would EVER hope to find. He has certainly set the bar high for anyone else who might want to get into the genealogy business. 3. Greetings from sunny Australia! My wife and I have used the services of Klaus Struve on 2 occasions. He has been extremely good in all our communications, found results and translated some 'impossible' hand-written documents. We exchanged views on these results in a very positive and constructive manner. I am a genealogist myself and to observe the manner Klaus operates can only be praised. His fees are more than reasonable, definitely less than anticipated. It was definitely a pleasure working with him. We strongly recommend him for anyone interested in digging up roots in SH. He had helped me find my ancestors from several areas of Schleswig-Holstein including my maternal line back to the 1700s. One day I will ask him to take my lines back even further where he can. His communication is always timely, and his reports include the original German text, English translations and maps - important if the ancestral locales are smaller rural areas. His fees are fair considering what it would cost me to travel to and in S-H, hire a translator, access archives and so on. If anyone ever needs questions answered about the work of Klaus Struve, please feel free to ask me via the list. Author: cindyla49 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.ceeurope.germany.schleswig.general/6424.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Additional information for Minna Margrethe Katharina Hansen: There were 12 children in the family. Only 2 sisters names are known - Dora and Maria. Dora and Maria immigrated to America about the late 1880's as Minna had not met them prior to her arrival in America.Dora and Maria settled in the town of Avorca, Iowa where they each had a large farm with their husbands (probably married in Germany before immigrating).
