    3. Hi Gary, What an interesting piece of information. My grandfather was a farmer in his teens and may have worked on this estate - can't find Geikau on my map either. 3. I have the information that you previously sent on your Johannsen line, but am unable to make a connection. Just thought that maybe you found something in the Bergenhusen records that maybe we can find a connection. My Johann Hinrich Johannsen (B. 1802) and his wife Anna Margretha (Pohlmann) Johannsen (b. 1804) moved their family from Lindeberg, Fahrenstedt parish, to Meggerdorf in the early 1870's. Their oldest son Marx Jurgen Johannsen (b. 1828) may have been there in the early 1860's. Their other children were Margaretha (Johannsen) Jasper (b. 1830), Detlef Friedrich Johannsen (b. 1835), Catharina (Johannsen) Lorenzen (b. 1838), also 5 other sons which were deceased by 1878. 3. Hi all, I am also researching the BLOCKER name and are as follow; Anna Margaretha BLOCKER, m Andreas WELKER, possibly from the WARWEROTH area SH. They probably had many children, like good Dans/Germans that they are and one of them was a, Anna Katherina WELKER, b; 04 Mar 1826, Warweroth, SH. Other sibling to this family are unknown. Any information or leads to my ancestors or other Members from this area will also be gratefully received. 3. Gail, I have heard that Billy Brandt story in this family also. Claus and Margaretha Luise (ANDRESEN) FRHAM were on the 1840, 1845 Friedrichsholm census then came to Wisconsin in 1848. 1823 or 24 is about the same time the first daughter Sara was born in Friedrichsholm. Other siblings are Margaretha born ca 1828-29, Claus born 18 Mar 1834 and Jacob C born 22 Jan 1839. Wonder if there could have been other FRAHMS in Friedrichsholm? Might be worth checking that census. My census information was given to me so can't advise how to do that.
