I found only one instance of anything like Starker, as follows: Neumünster 27.11.1692 Wicher, Hanß Stärckel, Cathar. I hope this helps! Hi all, I've had several people ask where I got this book. For those interested, Franz Schubert, who recently died, I believe, has a tremendous series of books in which he has transcribed marriages from church books in a variety of northern places. There is a whole series for Schleswig-Holstein, another for Mecklenburg, another for Wolfenbüttel-Braunschweig, etc. I found the one I have right now on interlibrary loan (this copy is from Harvard). I think that most of the series are generally available that way, although I have yet to find the Wolfenbüttel books listed on WorldCat. Here is a web address (in German) of the books available: http://www.gschweng.de/Schubert.htm Rose Green researching HARTWIG Hallo, einige Listenteilnehmer haben mir gefragt, wo ich dieses Buch gefunden habe. List, Would someone kindly look-up the last name of WOLSKI or WOLSKA on the Germans to America database? The year would be around 1870 - 1890.
