Vielen Dank Klaus Riecken www.Riecken-online.de

    3. To all my contacts, I have just been advised that a virus has been passed on to me. I have found that virus and deleted it. You must do the same and pass the message onto everybody in your address book. The virus (jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or McAfee. We are told that the virus sits quietly in the computer for 14 days before doing its damage. It is sent automatically by the address book, whether or not you have sent an Email to the recipient. Here is how to check if you have the virus and how to get rid of it. YOU MUST DO THIS, 1.. Go to "start". Choose the "Find" option 2.. In the file folder option type in the name jdbgmgr.exe 3.. Click on "find now" or "search" 4.. The virus has a teddy bear icon next to the name jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT OPEN IT!!! 5.. Go to "Edit" on the menu bar and choose "select all". This will highlight the offending file without opening it. 6.. Now go to "File" on the menu bar and select "delete". It will then go to the Recycle bin. 7.. IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK SO THAT THEY CAN DELETE IT FROM THIER ADDRESS BOOKS 8.. To do this 9.. Open a new Email message 10.. Click the icon of the Address book next to the "To" 11.. Highlight every name and put in "BCC" which means blind copy 12.. Copy this message and paste it in the Email 13.. Then send it

    2. Hi group, I have been trying for a month now to get a response back from Verlag Degener re: ordering copies of the S-H Trauregister by Franz Schubert and have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know what's going on with Degener? They initially contacted me back in the first part of October and told me that the books were available and if I sent them my credit card info. they would place my order for the books. I did this but have not been able to get a confirmation from them that they received the info. Any suggestions? Julie

This is a hoax that has been going around for several years. This hoax, like the SULFNBK.EXE Warning hoax, tries to encourage you to delete a legitimate Windows file from your computer. Jdbgmgr.exe is the file to which the hoax refers, and it is the Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java. The Jdbgmgr.exe file may be installed when you install Windows.
