They arrived at Castle Garden in NY on the ship Brailow. He married Hermine Petzoldt in 1860, She was also born in Germany . They had 8 children born in Altenburg MO. (1) Wilhelm Traugott 1860 (2) August Christian 1863 (3) Heinrich Friedrich 1864 (4) Karl Ludwig 1872 (5) Dorothea Elisabeth 1874 (6) Sara Auguste 1876 (my grandmother) (7) Martin Manuel 1878 (8) Christine Hermine 1883. I have alittle more info on some of these people. Would like to make contact with some of my distant relatives and perhaps exchange info.
