Christian SCHIRMER, Johann Georg, 16, s of Friedrich SCHIRMER, Eleonore, 11, d of Friedrich the above SCHIRMER's, listed as from Nickern, I know are part of the SCHIRMER's that I am researching. However, further down the page the following SCHIRMER was also on the same ship but listed as a hired hand to F. W. Witwer who was from Guhren: SCHIRMER, Gottlob, 28, hired hand to F.W. WITWER. I am trying to ascertain if Gottlob SCHIRMER could be a brother of Johann Christian SCHIRMER. So far all my searching has come up with no real information. I have also been unable to determine what happened to F.W. WITWER whose listing from the above book is below: WITWER, Friedrich Wilhelm, 38, water miller WITWER, Henriette, b GERLACH, 34, w WITWER, Friedrich Wilhelm, 8, s WITWER, Johanne Karoline, 2 months, d Any help would be greatly appreciated. NB I have a copy of the above book and would be happy to look for information for anybody who feel that they might have an ancestor listed.
