When I read your query, I thought I was reading something that I wrote!! Anna Scheer is my Great Great Grandmother. I am interested to know your relationship! This is the information I have on her: Descendants of Anna Scheer Generation No. 1 1. Anna2 Scheer (Unknown1) was born Abt. 1872 in Cedarburg/Ozaukee Co/ Wi, and died Abt. 1947 in Kennan/Price Co//WI. She married (1) August F. W. Prott Abt. 1892 in Wisconsin, son of Unknown Prott and Unknown. He was born Abt. 1867 in Germany, and died 1936 in Montrose/Montrose Co/CO. She married (2) James Lebal April 10, 1907 in Barron Co/Wisconsin, son of Unknown and Unknown. He was born Abt. 1872 in Wisconsin, and died Bet. 1950 - 1959 in Kennan/Price Co//WI. Notes for Anna Scheer: Active Searches: --no birth certificate on file for Anna in Ozaukee Co/WI per the Ozaukee Co Register of Deeds (Cedarburg). --If there were a possibility Anna's father was living in Ozaukee County before she was born, (per 1870 census) he could either be 1. John (age 55/Luxemburg & Elizabeth age 43/Luxemburg), hh#203, Belgium Twp), or 2. Henry (age 34/Prussia & Johanna age 36/Prussia, do have an Anna listed as age 2), hh#57, Grafton. Neither of these men or their families show up in the 1880 census (as Anna is not in the Ozaukee Co 1880 census) --1880 Census for all Twps/Ozaukee Co/WI : no Anna & few Scheers. (ancestry.com) May be a link to Ferdinand Sherer, living in Trenton/Washington Co/WI pg. 504a. There is an Anna listed as age 8. --1900 Census Kennan Twp/Price Co/WI: no Anna (ancestry.com) --Under son Emil's marriage certificate, 1919...he lists his mother's maiden name as Armour or Asmour (sp?). But his birth registration her maiden name is listed as Scheer and born in Cedarburg/Ozaukee Co/WI. --3-2/2003 requesting Anna's death certificate. Prott: Research Notes: --Per Francine Pratt-Yoder (and confirmed by Annette Lebal), August Pratt did leave Anna (between 1900 and 1907). Annette said that August was a very loving father and that no one knew why he decided to leave. --13/Jul/1999 requesting to State Historical Society's Area Research Center in Milwaukee to see if August's naturalization papers are on file with Ozaukee County.-8/1/99 received notice from State Historical Society wrote back: they could not find an August Pratt family living in WI under the 1900 federal census. They could not find an Ozaukee County marriage record of August/Anna.
