Our ancestors came to the US about 1849 so we believe if we are related it would be with Julius his father. Do you have any more information on Julius's family such as brothers or parents? Our ancestor is Phillip H. Scheer born in 1828 and he married Salome Herr born in 1838. We thought they were both born in Hunspach Soultz, Alsace Larraine Germany, but we could only find record of Salome being born there. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
