The problem is that my boyfriend has been separated from his father since 1987 and knows very little about his family history except that Stephen Roy Scheer was: Adopted (perhaps with a sibling, likely in Northern California) after having been in foster care or a group home. Born on 11.10.1944. After he left California, he lived in Eugene, Oregon and around Portland Oregon--where he is believed to still reside.
