I would like to hear from anyone with information on a Michael Scheer born April 10, 1851 in Salzberg. He fought in the Franco-Prussian war and immigrated to Canada in 1873. The 1901 Cnd census indicates year of birth is 1851, although the 1881 Cnd census indicates 1849 as date of birth. I am trying to locate information on his parents.
