He was credit manager and treasurer for American Woolen Co and later a bank Vice President (don't know the name of the bank but it was in New York). He was important enough to rate an obituary in the New York Times when he died in 1956. He and wife Florence lived in Glen Ridge NJ most of their married lives. I can identify him, back row upper right cigarette. my grandmother is the dark haired woman with the dark dress a little in front and to the left of him and a few others. I don't know when everyone signed up for the war, but this might have been right before WWII or at least before Pearl Harbor. Because I know that two of my Great Uncles served. I think they are all in the picture. It might have been my Great Grandparents 35 wedding anniversary. In 1940 they would have been married 35 years. The event was a wedding and the location was near the 500 Grace Street residence in Mt Washington Pgh. The man kneeling in the bottom left corner is Nicholas Scheer (my grandfather). To his left is one of the Amaditz boys (perhaps George) and then my father Michael Scheer, who was about 11 years old. i don't know who the man standing in the right corner is, I think he owned the property they were at. Nicholas's sister Helen is the woman in the flower print dress standing just behind him, her husband has his arm linked in hers. I can't identify the others.
