AIKEN, SC---Carroll F. "Shorty" McIntosh Sr, 71, died Thursday, July 5, 2001 at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Augusta, GA. Funeral services with full military honors will be held at noon on Saturday, July 7, at George Funeral Homes downtown chapel. Burial will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Mr. McIntosh was a native of NINETY SIX, SC, and had lived in AIKEN since 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was retired from the South Carolina National Guard. He was also a retired sheet metal worker. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Red" McIntosh. Survivors include 4 sons, Ernie, Carroll F. Jr, Billy, & Sammy McIntosh, all of AIKEN; a foster son, Jimmy Wood of AIKEN; a brother, Forest McIntosh of NINETY SIX; a sister, Juanita Mangoshe of EUCLID, OH; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
