    1. [SCGREENW] Looking for all families connected to the Courseys of Old Edgefield Dist, SC

    3. Please excuse the fact that some are going to get multiple listings of this message. I am hoping that some of you can and will help me with my family. This has been a fun hobby, but now I am really hoping to find some new facts as we just found out my mother, the last living Coursey of our direct line, has lung cancer. I would love to be able to present her with a more completed family history. She has traveled with me, tromped thru cemeteries, and worked with me for the past 7 years on much of our genealogy. I doubt if she will be able to continue this for long. First query concerns a line I have little on. I will post some other names later, rather than overwhelming the lists with so many questions. My gg-grandfather John Franklin Coursey had a son John Henry Coursey. I am trying to find out some more about this line. Here is all I have: Descendants of John Henry Coursey 1 John Henry COURSEY b: May 20, 1871 in SC d: January 11, 1934 Burial: Phillipi Baptist Church, between Johnston and Trenton (Hwy 25), Edgefield co., SC . +Mary Cornelia JACKSON b: May 14, 1873 in SC d: April 17, 1951 ..... 2 Annie COURSEY b: February 14, 1893 in SC d: February 26, 1966 ......... +Rufus A. I am accumulating all Coursey data, trying to make as complete a tree as possible. Would love to hear from anyone who has information on any Coursey family that connects to the Old Edgefield Dist (which includes Aiken, McCormick, Saluda, Edgefield and Greenwood Co, SC) You never know when the little piece of info. that you have - in a Bible Record, a memory, a family album, or your own personal research might be the missing clue to connect a new line.
