She also gives the parents of John Jones as Thomas Jones m __ Prudy Mrs. Lizielou Jones Samuel, Edgefield, SC NSDAR# 183352 enters thru yet another line. Her dates for John are Jan 27, 1764 - 1835, which agree with those of Carrie lee Cullum Rogers. She sites Salleys History, p. 30 and Stub Entries to Indents )-Q p. 87. Verifies by National # 171830. Ouzts CONFLICT: 1880 Census records of Seaborn [1880 Census: Batesburg, Lexington, South Carolina, p. 383B] and Nathaniel [1880 Census Place: Mctier, Aiken, South Carolina, p. 156D] raise question about birthplace of John Jones. If these two men are his sons, one says Nathaniel was born in NC, the other says VA. The DAR records gave SC. Remeber to verify or get actual source documentation before assuming the family file is correct. This is not one of my main lines, and I sorta put it together after the connections in the DAR files connected a couple of the families I had. All of the children of John came from the DAR files.
