Debby Neves Plautersville, Georgetown Co.Feb. 2 After a few days of illness, Mrs. Ben Huger Ward died, at Prospect Hill plantation on Waccamaw last Saturday night, of pneumonia. She was the oldest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James R. Sparkman, and a grand daughter of the late Dr. Edward Thomas Heriot. Her husband and nine children survive her. Less that a month ago the marriage of the oldest daughter occurred at this home when all were happy and joyous. Her death was a shock to the whole community.
