I belive the cousin Jesse in Linden, Perry Co. Tn. would be the son of William Taylor and Mary Bridwell who moved to Tn. from S.C. abt 1808. William b 1782 Greenville Co. S.C., Mary b 1786 in Fauquier Co. Va. if your Washington is the son Sarah Bridwell Taylor that might be the connection with cousin Jesse,check Goodspeeds History of Perry Co.
