I one I am looking for now was born about 1785. I found him in the 1850 Census at age 65 with his wife Elizabeth 65 and I assume two daughters Polly b. 1822, Elizabeth b. 1829, and what I think is a grandson W. P. Lewis b. 1847. He had at least one son, Anthony Lewis b. 1826 who married Celia Mc abee b. 1833 in Spartanburg County SC. Anthony and Celia's Children are as follows: Seth b. aug. 1849 ( Seth's wife according to some old family papers I found was named Mary ???) John W. b. 1853 Melinda C. b. 1855 Elizabeth J. b. 1857 Henry Jefferson Davis Lewis b. July 21, 1862 (He married Sarah Etta Solesbee b. abt. 1857, this is my great great grandparents.)
