I am a descendant of Jepthah Washington WOOD and Elizabeth Ann GREER. While reading through the "Wood-Woods" file in the Leonardo Andrea Collection I came across "Bible Records of Jepthah Washington WOOD and Sarah Elizabeth (Greer) WOOD." However, as with my luck, there was no citation as to where the the information came from....just the family entries that were placed in the Bible. There was a notation that the information came from a periodical called the "Wood-Woods Exchange" however there was no citation. Does anyone know if this Bible exists, where it may be located, and whom I can contact? I would be ever so gratefel for your help. Rhita
Rhita, I've not see the Bible you are looking for, but please let me know if you find it! I would love to hear about it. I know that the family Bible (GREER) burned in an aunt's house fire in the late 50s. My grandfather had left it with her bec. he was in a nursing home. I just always wished I knew how far back it went; it might have been a gold mine for both of us!
