    1. [SCGREENV] Re: LEOPARD family in SC
    2. My Leopard family lives in Travelers Rest, S.C., however, my grandfather Clyde Leopard was from the Simpsonville area. He died in 1949 when my mother was 9 years old. He worked as a chain gang prison guard and the family lived in Travelers Rest. He married Lillie Belle Turner--her mother was Minnie Evelyn Tucker ! We do have a few last names in common. My grandmothers parents were: Perry Furman Tucker ( son of Thomas and Polly Bishop Tucker ) and Martha Smith ( daughter of Jim and Sarah Bridges Smith ). My grandmothers siblings were: brothers--Jim, Louis and Daniel and sisters--May Tucker Darby and Lizzie Tucker Lynch. My grandmother married George Washington Turner. Unfortunately, I do not have any info of the relatives of my grandfather Clyde Leopard. My own mother died in 1996. I found a piece of yellow legal paper in my mothers handwriting of her mothers side of the family. Does any of this connect to your Leopards and your Tuckers? Thanks, Tammy
