I am a 53 year old black male and I don't know who the Gilyard's are, due to my father not knowing his father. Only my sibs no relatives are known by the name. Only five of us with our children and the name stops, only four males to carry on our family name. I was reading the message board and saw your message and wanted to say hi. I have a 19 year old son that will some day try to connect the dots. KEEP THE FAITH.
