    2. This a family in which I am very interested, and you are the first person I have found who is researching them. My Greenville (later Anderson) Moores may be related to them. My ggg-grandfather Samuel Moore's will (written in 1828) was witnessed by George and Alfred Long and Brasher Henderson, who I believe was married to a Long. One of his sons was William Spencer Moore (my gg-grandfather), and one of the witnesses on his will was a W.B. Long (William Spencer Moore moved from Greenville to Anderson Co. in around 1836; he wrote his will in 1865 and died in 1871). Do you have any information on a connection of this family to the Moores? I would also be interested in how these Longs are related to one another.
