Hi Greta, At this point I really don't know enough to help anyone. I do know that on the 1800 Greenville census a William Long lived between Thomas Long Sr & Thomas Long, Jr.. Going by William's age he was probably a son of Thomas Long Sr.. George Long and Sarah Slover had a son Thomas who was my gggrandfather and he had a son John William. My Thomas named his children a lot of names that I feel were someone's surname, like Henderson, Hayden and Riley. George also had a son Tandy and I would be very interested in learning where that name came from. I feel it is an unusually name. I know nothing about the Slover family so some of these names could have come from there. It seems all of George's children were born in Greenville so am sure my brick wall is right there.
