At some point I will probably try to do some research on the Longs in Greenville, since I feel there is some strong association between them and the Moores, possibly one of kinship (perhaps Samuel Moore's wife was a Long). If I find anything of relevance, I will pass it along to you; likewise, if you figure out the Greenville Long family relations and especially if you see a Moore in among them, I would be very grateful if you would pass the information on to me. The name Henderson that you mention may come from Brasher Henderson, who married Elizabeth Long (his sister Sarah also married a Long). As I mentioned, I have not seen much research on the Longs, so right now they are a mystery.
