He was a soldier in the War of 1812 and believed to have died near Natchez, MS in 1813. It is also thought that he was born out of wedlock and could have gone by the name of Bolling. He was married to Janie Fincher d/o Richard Fincher and Nancy Forbes. He and Janie had two children: Eliza Jane Coleman born 1808 and Mahala Coleman born 1811. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
