I do remember going with my parents to the NCO Club. This was in late 1958 and early 59. I wonder if the building is still there ? Probably rebuilt by now. We didn't live on base. We lived out in the country, but I don't know the street. My dad was sent TDY to Germany and 5 days before he was to come back he was murdered, in a sabotaged cargo plane, in Turkey. It happened March 31, 1959. His name was Donald Brumm. I have always wondered if anyone else from Donaldson was on that airplane ? Would there be anything in the local newspaper ?
