Surnames: Waldrop, Davidson, Bridges, Carter Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UeB.2ACI/1438.1.1 Message Board Post: Mathew and his wife are buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Traveler's Rest. According to their gravestones, Mathew's wife was was Catharine. I have Mathew's parents as Capt. Jessie and Lyddia Skipper Carter. Jesse's 1801 will lists two daughters and two sons, but doesn't give their names. I'm trying to find evidence that one of the daughters was Frances E. Carter who married Edmond Bridges.

I have to look thi sone up seeing as Frances was a big name in our line, as well as Jesse . The Jesse was dropped as time went on but my son still carries the middle name of Frances. It stated out as a Male name in the Nelson line. ***** > > >_____________________________________________________ >This message scanned for viruses by CoreComm > > > >
