Hi Patty, I am sorry I can't help you with your Davis family. Davis is very difficult to research. My husbands Davis grandfather was born in Georgia, Raised in Texas, and died in Oklahoma of Typhoid in 1913. My father-in-law was only 4 or 5 years old at the time. So our family knows very little about Old Jim "James Porter" Davis. I do wish you good luck in your Davis search.
