My gg-grandmother Kate Johnson, born 1830 and her daughters, Cynthia Johnson Kennedy Hartwell, born 1849 and Lucy Johnson Hicks, born 1863 were born in Charleston, SC and later moved to Abbeville County and then by 1900 to Greenville, SC. Lucy was married to Henry Hicks and Cynthia was married to James Robert Kennedy who died by 1900 and then to Peter Hartwell.
