You did just what I was wanting...hearing from lots of people with their memories. It is a lifestyle that is gone forever. I realize now that by lots of people's standards, we were poor then but I never felt that way at all. Mill schools were fillled with people who cared about the children and did the best with what they had to work with. Thanks again for posting....please add more anytime.....
