Carson Shelton who was the son of William Shelton and Lydia Parker. SPC Shelton did move to TX in 1882. William Milford moved about 2 years later stayed for several years and returned prior to 1903. William Milford was married to Lillie Belle Rogers. the Rogers were well off. I beleive it was Lillie Belle's uncle Hugh Rogers who donated the land to Western Carolina in Cullowhee. I am trying to see where William born abt 1776 came from. Bill shelton
