    3. Anyone interested in this Jonathan TURNER should see, NGS Volume 92, No. 4, December 2004, 245-55. The Wives of Jonathan Turner: Identification of Women in Pre-Twentieth-Century South Carolina by Rachal Mills Lennin, CGRS. If anyone has additional info on these TURNERs listed on the 1830 Pickens Co., SC census, please let me know. 1830 census Pickens Co., SC p.293 Stephen TURNER 000001-00001 Bailey TURNER 00100001-0101 William HUNT 00001-10001-2 slaves Abbell WILLIAMS 00011-0001-2 slaves William SIZEMORE 10001-10001 Esly HUNT 0010001-20001-11 slaves Listed as shown. I'm also interested in the RHODES surname. The 1753 Halifax Co., VA records indicate the earliest known HENRY SIZEMORE was married to Elizabeth RHODES. This Henry appears to be the same found in SC records starting in 1768.
