I was rearedat Woodside and new Elmo Mann and Woodrow Eskew and his family. Elmo worked in the office at the Mill and always ate lunch at the drug store, I remember he favored egg salad sandwiches and tomato soup, now why did I remember such a detail. He woul then play the pinball machine until time to return to work....My dad worked at woodside from 1919 until about 1976 when mom got so sick he had to retire for good. I still own the old home place where I lived at Woodside from 1940 Jan 01 until I married and left woodside for a home in Berea in 1963 when I returned from service.
