Louise, Do you connect with any of the Grant's out of Lauren and Greenville? My grandmother was Grace Pauline Grant, born in Clinton, Laurens Co. she moved to Greenville after she married Ode Cox. Her parents were Benjamin F. Grant and Mattie Jacks. I have more info if you are interested.
