Hello Bill, Thank you for answering my posting. I had been given some wrong information. My Hawkins gg grandfather was Harrison Brittain Hawkins from Burke County, N.C. who married Lucinda Stacy. This Hawkins line came to N.C. from Maryland. I believe yours came from Virginia. If you should ever need any info on this family, let me know. Again, thanks, Margaret
