My gg-grandfather was born Nov 4, 1847, served as a Bugler in South Carolina’s 16th Regiment, and died at the age of 49 on July 30, 1896. Married to Mary Cathrine Robison, they had 5 children: 1. Harriet Annie Rodgers Hudson 2. Wills Milton Rodgers 3. John R. Rodgers 4. Samuel H. Rodgers 5. Tom Rodgers Wills and Mary are buried at Brushy Creek Baptist church cemetery in Greenville County, SC.
