That's from William H.'s son Bannister (b. 1809 in Greenville Co.) -> Bannister's son Pleasant Hardin (b. 1847 in Abbeville Co.) -> Pleasant Hardin's son Pleasant Hardin II (b. 1877 in Cass Co. TX) -> Pleasant Hardin II's son Steve Vance (b. 1918 in Cass Co. TX) -> ME!! (b. 1951 in Harrison Co. TX) Have been trying to document backward from William H. but there appear to be 3 Williams in a row and they are extremely hard to sort out. If you can help, I'd be grateful. I see census records on tons of Stones in the area, such as James, Jerry, Jonathan, Mica, Polly, Stephen, 3 separate Williams, John, Robert, Thomas, Mary, "Banestar", 3 separate Micajahs, Rebecca, etc. Are all these from one tribe?
