Looking for any information on C J Ballenger & his wife Victoria Parker Ballenger. Victoria was born (per 1900 Cleveland County, NC) census in November 1883. A daughter of Devanie/Devinney Parker & his wife Eliza P. At the time of her brother Plato's death in April 1942 she was living in Charlotte, NC. Is this Victoria Ballenger my Victoria Parker Ballenger? Would appreciate any help with this family. Am trying to track down the maiden name of Victoria's mother, Eliza, as well as that of her Grandmother, Nancy Parker wife of William Parker & hoping for clues from Victoria's descendants or records. Date of death of her father would be helpful also. He is buried at Union Baptist Church near Polkville, Cleveland Co,NC w/no dates on Confederate marker. Any clues will be greatly appreciated.
