I do show David's father being William Austin Ballew and his grandfather being William Ballew and his gr-grandfather being Abraham Ballew, Jr., so I assume going one more back would be Abraham Ballew, Sr., but I didn't have any info on the females. I would also like to find some info on David Austin Ballew's wife, Rutha Burnet, dob 12/28/1869, died 2/19/1905. They married on 11/25/1883. I have been told that she was full-blooded Cherokee.
