    3. Dear Tena, I think I received your query by mistake--however, I do have Traynum (Traynham) relatives, way back. My great-grandmother's sister ELIZABETH RICE married CLEMENT TRAYNUM before 1840. Her father was ZENUS RICE from Greenville Co., SC. Children of Elizabeth and Clement were listed as John, George, Temperance, and Mary. Zenus Rice's remains supposedly were reinterred fairly recently to Traynham Cemetery (I presume in Greenville Co., SC) I'd love to learn exactly where that is. I live in the Columbia, SC area and would certainly go to it if could locate it. Also want to find the boulder with "Z.R." carved into it, and get photographs. I suspect it is in the Flat Shoals, SC area. Would love to hear from any of the TRAYNUM, TRAYNHAM, BALDWIN, ESTES, RICHARDS, ATKINS, THOMASON, or RICE descendants of this family. If it is, my grandmother was Gertrude Traynham Ware, the sister. They were the parents of James Hembree and Josephine (Davenport) Traynham. Let me know if you can. I wondered if he had any children or not. > > ==== SCGREENV Mailing List ==== >
