Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UeB.2ACI/3030.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Robert Wilkes was a son of Ransom Americus Frasier, but he was supposed to have died in an accident in Anderson,SC in 1890, in one section of Charles Frazier's book on the Fraziers[Charles has Ransom having two sons named Robert. Robert E. and Robert Wilkes] and in another section Charles has Robert E. being the one killed. He quotes a grandson of Americus saying it was Wilkes that was killed not Robert as reported by Keowee Courier on September 25,1890. I think I know someone who has a reprint of the article. So if your Robert is Robert Wilkes and he was in 1900 C. then it couldn't have been him who was killed in 1890. I have put a notice in Frazier Message Boards asking for contact with descendents of Ransom Americus hoping to clear this up. We have been in contact several times before. Lucy Brown
