Gibson of Milford community died in 1888; his (annexed) will was not probated until 1896-1900. The legatees were: Mrs. Delia A. Gibson Groce, state of Tx.; W.H.Roe, S.R.Roe, Idella Roe Weaver,of the state of Tx.,Bettie Roe Hawkins, J.T.Roe, J.E. Roe, and Sicily Roe, children of Mary E.Gibson Roe, deceased; Willie Weaver, child of Martha E.Gibson Weaver Whilden, deceased; and E. Charlotte James--who with her husband William E. James were appointed executors. William Weaver is mentioned as being also of the state of Texas at the time. Has anyone researched this line who knows the connection of William Weaver to Idella Roe Weaver, other than the facts that they were first cousins and she ended up with the same name through marriage? William Weaver, son of John Weaver and Martha Gibson, was born abt.1862 and was still alive in 1944 when he was listed in Richard Furman Whilden Jr.'s obit as a half brother. Thanks, Susan
