I have a Lourana / Luraney HAWKINS who married Colonel John Walker of Spartanburg < SC. She died 1844 in Spartanburg and is buried in Magnolia Cemetery. Here are her children. Kelly, Thanks for responding but they aren't my Hawkinses. Actually Lourena/Louraney Hawkins could be but I strongly doubt it as mine seemed to be of Travelers Rest, Greenville. And that's the part of the puzzle that is blank--who were his siblings/aunts/uncles/cousins/grandparents/ggrandparents. Thanks for trying. I just didn't receive the email on the book "Our Hawkins Cousins". I was hoping that whomever owns it could look it my ggrandfather up for me, but I haven't heard from them. Judy
