It may be "old news" but I was surprised to find that many historical record indices and some actual scanned documents from the Greenville Courthouse have been posted at http://greenvillecounty.org/apps/Historical_Records_Search/Default.aspx This includes historic records from: Council Commissioners Court of Common Pleas Court of General Sessions Probate Court Register of Deeds Sheriff's Office Since I live across the country, this was wonderful news to me and I thought I'd share it with others who may not be aware.
