ROBBS and JOSEPH DAVIS recorded in Will Book C - pages 29-31 - Apt. 10 - File No. 42 ID: I607168579 Name: Edward, Jr. WATSON Given Name: Edward, Jr. Surname: Watson Sex: M Birth: Bef 1804 Death: Bet 30 Aug and 5 Sep 1815 in Greenville District, South Carolina Note: REFN: 3393 Will of EDWARD WATSON dated Aug 30, 1815 and probated Sept. 5, 1815 gave wife LUCY WATSON 2/3 of plantation and balance to be sold and divided amongst children (unnamed) all other property to wife names wife LUCY WATSON and ALEXANDER ROBBS as executors Father: Edward WATSON Mother: UNKNOWN UNKNOWN There is a land record dated early February 1830, for the sale of land from a William Crane to Thomas Watson. The sale is witnessed by a Edward Watson and others. I believe that this was a relative of Thomas Watsons, but I am not sure how they are related. Edward Watson Jr had passed away before this sale and his will does not list his children. Lucy Watson was still alive and both she and Thomas are listed on the same page of the 1830 census. Not sure if they were living next to each other?There is also a Edward Watson, age 30-39 on the same page. This may have been a brother to Thomas and witnessed the sale.
