Thank you so much for the suggestion Wanda, that'll be worth a try, I'd love to put names to these photos!! I'll try writing the newspaper soon. That publication from South Carolina University was very interesting, thank you for mentioning it, I'd love to read those Names in South Carolina Volumes, they sound so interesting!! Barbara, Thank you so much for the information you sent, I really appreciate it a lot!! My mother in law's mother was Minnie Lee Greer, daughter of John Frederick Greer and Abbie Belle Davis. Any connection? I Googled Drace PhotoCompany, SC and found this. Someone may have already come across it: A publication from South Carolina University, December 1978..Volume 24, pages 21 and 22: Drace Photography Shop was operated on Emma Street (now called Trade Street) of Greer from 1895, when Charles W. Drace came from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, until his death in September, 1928. Photography was then most often called "viewing." Several of the pictures used in the Centennial Edition were those taken by Photographer Drace. I realize that you are trying to identify pictures so this won't help with that. I hope that you are successful. I'm wondering if the Greer newspaper would like to put some of the photos in the paper to see if someone might recognize them ss being family members. Wanda What is your Mother-in-law's Mother's name? My parents were friends with one branch of the Greer family. Barbara
