    1. Thomas Luther Peace, Glassy Mountain Township (1870-1910) was he really shot?
    2. Judith Parker-Proctor
    3. Thomas Luther Peace Son of William Thomas Peace & Delilah "Lela" Barnett Peace Born 17 July 1870 Died 1 March 1910 Buried at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church At the time of his death he was living on a farm in the Glassy Mountain Township of Greenville County, SC, and was just a couple months shy of his 40th birthday. An elderly relative has recently told me that he "seems to remember that Aunt Berthie said Thomas Luther was shot and the doctors let him die of an infection". The relative also stated he thought it was an accidental shooting & happened at a saw mill. Aunt "Berthie" was Bertha Luanna Peace (1898-1989) who married Wilburn B "Webb" Bruce and was one of Thomas Luther's daughters. Any help proving or disproving my Great-Grandfather's cause of death would be appreciated. Judy
